after the 12 months of free upgrades (company license) - will we still be able to download from your servers the latest version that has been published during this time window (or do we have to download the required packages beforehand and store them locally)?

You can still download from pypi whatever version you're eligible for even after your license expires. The license expiration only entails what version you're eligible for, not access to the version you were bought and was available during your 12 month upgrade window.
If you ever experience license issues (e.g., you can't download a version you think you're eligible for), please email us at contact@explosion.ai with the order ID (EX####) or license key and we can double-check.
